The Battlefield

There are many organized events featuring TRC.  The bulk of the competition is via email but the true test of any metal is when it's subjected to extreme heat and pressure, i.e., the face-to-face tournments where folks my spend 15+ hours a day playing TRC.

The Ladder: 

This is a yearly PBEM event that provides continues on-going competition featuring the campaign game.  The current GM is Gary Dickson.

The BPA Tournament: 

This is the Boardgame Players Association-sponsored PBEM event.  It is a single-elimination event open to all BPA members.  The current GM is George Karahalios.

The L2 World Tournament: 

This was the L2 Design Group-sponsored PBEM event.  It was a single-elimination event open to anyone who owned the 4th edition of TRC.  The current GM is Jim Eliason.

The World Boardgaming Championships: 

This is the annual face-to-face event run by the Boardgame Players Association at their annual convention.  The current GM is Tom Gregorio.

PrezCon: 

This is a new face-to-face tournament hosted in Charlottesville, Virginia at the PrezCon convention.  The current GM is Tom Gregorio.
